The Tragedy of Gun Free Zones

"A striking paradox is associated with these mass murders. They are much more likely to occur in areas that have been designated as gun free zones."

The above quote was taken from an article written by Dr. Michael S. Brown...in 2001.

"...states with the fewest gun free zones have the greatest reductions killings, injuries, and attacks."
This quote is from an paper written in October, 2000.

I think the time has come for congress to get rid of gun free zones.

Last quote:

Gun-free zones are invitations to mass murder, gun-rights advocates argued after a lone gunman's shooting rampage at the Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, Friday left 20 children and six adults dead. John Lott, author of the controversial 1999 bestseller More Guns, Less Crime, said in an interview with Newsmax.com Saturday it is no coincidence that mass shootings with multiple victims occur repeatedly in designated gun-free zones such as schools, shopping malls, and movie theaters.
This quote is taken from an article written December 17, 2012.  Here we are eleven years later, knowing full well that gun free zones are a disaster and we still allow our children to be murdered.
