EPA taking aim at auto emissions, sulfur in gas: Raises prices 6 - cents per gallon

So, the EPA wants to make the rest of the nation look like CA.  The EPA claims it will only raise gasoline prices by a penny?  What are they fooling?

And yet again we are told that the new standards will SAVE LIVES.  That is the biggest load of BS I have ever heard.  They say we'll save BILLIONS in costs.

That's what they said about diesel and what they said about the new regulations on coal.  At this rate, we should all live to be 150 years old.  But we all know it's a big load of dog turds.

On top of that, natural gas derived blended diesel will be hitting the gas pumps in a few years. Naphtha from Fischer Tropsch based plants will be blended with refinery naphtha that will ultimately find its way to the gas pump.  Another path is natural gas =>methanol=>gasoline.

Guess how much sulfur is in it?

ZERO.

How do I know this?  Because it's what I do for a living.

So listen to what I say now:  LOWER SULFUR FUELS WILL HIT THE MARKET SOON NOT BECAUSE OF THE EPA BUT BECAUSE MARKET FORCES HAVE ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN.

But guess who will take the credit for it?  Those asshats at the EPA, that's who.
