The Best Cities For Jobs 2013

Forbes list here:

10.  Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos, TX
 9.   Denver-Aurora-Broomfield, CO
 8.   Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC, SC
 7.   San Jose - Sunnyvale - Santa Clara, CA
 6.   Dallas - Plano- Irving - TX
 5.   Houston, Sugartown - Baytown, TX
4.    Fort Worth - Arlington, TX
3.    Salt Lake City, UT
2.    Nashville - Davidson - Murfreesboro - Franklin, TN
1.    San Francisco - San Mateo - Redwood City, CA

It all sounds good until you start looking at the numbers.  All we've done is break even at best:
A decade ago, the San Francisco area was reeling from the collapse of the last dot-com bubble; the damage was so deep that today it has only 0.6% more jobs than in 2001. Its sharp recent growth is primarily in the information sector, which has expanded a torrid 21.3% since 2009.
