New Study Finds Hens Safer in Cages than in Cage-Free Systems

Hens are better off in cages.

A new study may change the way many view the debate between housing chickens in cages vs. cage-free systems. According to the results published on Wednesday by the Coalition for Sustainable Egg Supply, the mortality rates for hens are higher in cage-free systems. This means that the number of deaths is considerably higher, chiefly due to hens pecking each other or cannibalizing each other, as well as increased risk of disease and attacks from predators. Additionally, the study found that air quality was significantly lower in cage-free systems, as the hens would stir up dust containing manure, which would elevate the ammonia levels.

Desal, the Climate Crisis, and Our Children’s Future

I just hope and pray that people who write articles like this aren't listened to anymore.  When you're down to your last drop of water and thousands if not millions need more, people like this will still be yelling "conserve!  conserve!".  How utterly, utterly stupid and vapid.

California is in the drought caught with their collective pants down.  They never bothered to invest in the infrastructure they needed to provide water to the masses.  They listened to the vacuated minds of environmentalists who don't give a damn about the lives of humans.

California deserves what California gets.

Desalination is a desperate choice for Santa Barbara, but fortunately it’s not necessary. With its huge cost, risk, and climate footprint, it assumes water users put lush landscapes ahead of our children’s future.
But I guess the idiotic writer didn't get that if the Santa Barbara still ran their desalinisation plant THEY WOULDN'T BE IN THIS PREDICATMENT.

Man tears down neighbor’s Swastika display: ‘Time for Americans to not be complacent’

I just can't believe the number of people who think what the destroyer did was a good thing.  This is horrible.

Do I agree with Naziism?  No!  But these are the tactics that the Left does against the Conservatives such as Prolife advocates and such.  So we should turn to their tactics?

If the answer is yes...then we are a few steps away from Civil War.

A California man spoke for many Americans Tuesday when he took the initiative and tore down a neighbor’s front yard Swastika display.

“It’s time for us as Americans to not be so complacent,” Robert Dixon of Granite Bay told Sacramento KCRA News. Dixon doesn’t mind that he was caught on cellphone video ripping apart the Swastikas.

“[It’s time] to stand up and say, ‘Hey, we’re not going to put up with it,’” he said.

Let's do the following:

California law could lead to cheaper egg prices in US

Yep.  If you don't want to sell eggs in CA, you can sell them in other states, thus lowering the prices of eggs in those states.

"We do expect that while this may cause higher prices in California, prices elsewhere could actually face downward pressure if out-of-state egg producers choose to sell their eggs elsewhere, if they choose not to make these changes to their facilities," Kuhns said at the USDA's Agricultural Outlook Forum. "That could actually increase the supply of eggs for much of the U.S."

Solar in California's urban areas could provide 5 times the power the state needs...

If you think it will be that easy, think again!  Every tribe in the various areas will come out of the wordwork saying the sites are near (not even ON) ancient indian trails or rabid environmentalists will decide the soalr facilities will kill tortoises or other rare fauna.  If I recall there was at least one solar facility the original owner just walked away from because the litigations became too much!

The beginning of the Christian Persecution: California Judges Must Cut Ties With The Boy Scouts

This is what happens when morality is legislated.  Uh...isn't this what liberals havbe been preaching this entire time??

With no judges on the bench that might bne sympathetic to Christians, we will see more and more in prison simply because of the way they believe.

California has banned state court judges from belonging to the Boy Scouts. The move extends an earlier ban on judges belonging to groups that discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, but had an exemption for youth groups. Judges have one year to sever their ties with the Boy Scouts.

California has about one year of water left. Will you ration now?

Absolutely unblievable and shortsighted.  All the politician bowed to the power environmentalist lobbyists.  And CA is scrambling to put in more dealinization plants.  And what about all those dams they were so eager to blow up, thus lessening the amount of water available? Not none of it seems like such a great idea now, does it?

CA, you are getting your just desserts.

Several steps need be taken right now. First, immediate mandatory water rationing should be authorized across all of the state's water sectors, from domestic and municipal through agricultural and industrial. The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is already considering water rationing by the summer unless conditions improve. There is no need for the rest of the state to hesitate. The public is ready. A recent Field Poll showed that 94% of Californians surveyed believe that the drought is serious, and that one-third support mandatory rationing.
Yeah. Whatever.
